A shoe game that is played at the wedding by the groom and the bride has gained a lot of popularity all across the United States. The game is very exciting and interesting, not to mention fun. How to Play the Shoe Game:

In this game, the bride and the groom are supposed to sit with back towards each other. The seating should be central so that they are visible to all the guests. Once they have taken adjacent seat where they cannot see each other, they must exchange one of their shoes. That is, both the bride and the groom must have one shoe of themselves (which represents them) and one their better halves shoe (which represents their respective better halves).

Now the guests or the MC at the wedding is supposed to ask some questions, the answer of which will either be the groom or the bride. In response to the questions the bride and the groom must raise the shoe of the person they believe is the answer to the question.

For example, when asked ‘who is the more mysterious and secretive one?’ the bride will have to raise her shoe, if she believes herself to be the more mysterious and secretive one and the groom’s shoe if she believes otherwise. The groom will also do the same to every question.

The Fun and the ‘Aww’:

While some of the question may be extremely funny and the opposing responses given by the couple may make it funnies; there may be some questions that become the wow and the ‘aww’ moment of the wedding.

Few Fun Questions:

For the convenience of those who wish to play the game either on their own wedding or wish to implement the plan for a friend’s wedding, here are a few questions that may make the day:

  • Who spends more?
  • Who wears the pants in the relationship?
  • Who is funnier?
  • Who is better in bed?
  • Who says ‘sorry’ to subdue and argument/ fight?
  • Who do you love the most?
  • Whose family is the craziest?
  • Who is undeniably and usually right?
  • Who stole the champagne at Paige’s wedding?

It is also a good idea to ask the guests for questions to make them more personalized, fun and to keep the guests more involved.
